Two curious things around here...

in my Republican town.

First, I've noticed a lot of sign stealing going on, with many Obama signs missing, but Romney signs are missing, too. The interesting thing about the missing Romney signs is that the other Republican signs on those lawns are still there, unlike the Obama lawns, which were stripped bare of signs. Could our local Republicans be having buyer's remorse?

Next, the Cutchogue 7-11 has three large stacks of Romney coffee cups, but is down to a small stack of a half dozen Obama cups. The clerk explained nobody is buying the red ones. So, in this most Republican of towns is it possible the Republicans don't drink coffee, don't like 7-11 coffee, or don't like that size cup? I think they just don't like Romney.

3. I'm in a VERY red district, but I'm yet to see a rMoney sign or bumper sticker.

Lots of Obama stuff is out, but I'm waiting until after the 1st to put mine out.

4. I gave up on putting signs in my yard

Republicans in Texas steal them. The last signs I had were Ann Richards. Three of them disappeared.

5. We take them in at night. It's the only way to protect them. nt
