2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI'm still voting for Hillary Clinton
at my precinct caucus in Minnesota on March 1.
I expect to be voting for her again on November 8.
I expect to be cheering for her at her inauguration, too.
Others may be doing something else, but that's what I'll be doing.

(178 posts)Coffee? You'll need it.
MineralMan
(146,307 posts)As for coffee, I drink three cups every day. How about you?
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I really appreciate it.

You really shouldn't do that. Your vote is your business and nobody else's.

(146,307 posts)I can post on DU, so I did. Others are saying they're voting for Bernie Sanders. Why should I not post my voting plans.
I don't mind people knowing how I'll vote. I don't keep it a secret. My choice.
Have I told you so 100 times? I don't keep count.
tularetom
(23,664 posts)If you wanted to, you could post pictures of your boogers here and in theory at least, nobody could stop you.
And I don't believe I implied anything to the contrary.
And while it is your choice to tell the world how you plan to vote, it's my right to tell you I disagree. And I would same thing to those who say they are voting for Bernie Sanders. My wife of 53 years does not know how I voted in any election since 1964.
100 times? OK, that's an approximation.

(15,438 posts)Ugh.
Look at your avatar and at your own sigline. Then look at MM's. See the difference?
Why is it that Bernie supporters can't stand it when a supporter for the other team opines proudly about their chosen candidate? The level of intolerance among Bernie supporters for other people's opinions is alarmingly low and anything BUT liberal.

(23,664 posts)I don't give a flying fuck what Mineral Man posts, he's an adult and its his right to post anything he wants.
Its my right to comment on his post.
It's even your right to make uninformed responses to my comment.
I don't think Mineral Man needs you to defend him, he has a pretty thick skin.
I was fucking kidding, Einstein.
BlueCaliDem
(15,438 posts)how about you look in the mirror. Better yet, look at your profanity-riddle posts. There are anger issues there.
Riiiight. You were kidding. I'm hearing LOUD beep-beep-beep sounds coming out of your post. Einstein.
tularetom
(23,664 posts)I don't care if people get angry with me though.
So knock yourself out if you don't have anything better to do.

(16,974 posts)You are gloating and others are wrong if they do not vote for her. Most people will just vote and will not publicise it like what you are doing.
MineralMan
(146,307 posts)to vote for Hillary. In the post, I also recognized that others will do something else.
Gloating? I don't think so. I'm stating my support for a Democratic Primary candidate. This is GD , right?
Empowerer
(3,900 posts)You think that someone saying they plan to vote for a candihat they think that candidate will win is "gloating?"
As I said, "Wow." DU must be an absolute nightmare for you,, given your peculiar sensitivities.

(2,978 posts)five times per month. That'd be 1 million OPs on that topic alone. Per month.
Maybe that's good for the DU owners in terms of clicking and such. I honestly don't know.
I think at that point we'd need a separate forum for vote announcements so that other members could choose whether they wanted to see that many OPs per month on individual DU member vote choice updates.

(7,820 posts)Sanders supporter, but have good friends supporting Hillary and I can see good in both candidates. You support Hillary? Good. Make the case and work to get her elected.
I do dislike how negative it seems to be getting. It will make it harder to move forward once the primaries are over. For all the calls for party unity, there are actual differences and there are wounds that may linger. That would not be good.

I expect to be voting for her gain on November 8.
I will definitely be cheering for her when she's inaugurated as the first woman president of these United States who will continue and expand on President Obama's work.
And so will my core group of 39 Millennials!
