Am I missing something because I have not heard that Bernie is scrapping ACA, only that he intends to replace for-profit insurance companies with Medicare for All. The rest of ACA, as I understand it, is not being changed, nor do I think it should be.

2. You're misinterpreting what she's saying

She's not saying that he'll eliminate ACA and THEN propose Medicare for All.

What she IS saying is that that passing ACA, which has improved the health care situation a lot, took a lot of time and political capital. Rather than start with ACA and make improvements to it, Sanders effectively starting from scratch with a new Health Care legislation package that will also be time consuming, and politically taxing AND far less likely to pass.

I prefer big dreams and I prefer the process of making them happen, rather than capitulating in favor of doing nothing. In this regard, I don't care how long it takes or how taxing it is. Work me and tax me, by God!
