I am proud to stand with SMART in their endorsement of Hillary Clinton

SMART, the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers, has endorsed Hillary Clinton as the union’s choice for President in the upcoming 2016 election.

SMART General President Joseph Sellers, Jr., said, “She has the real-world experience and dedication that makes her the right candidate to serve the interests of America’s working families in these turbulent times.”

Sellers noted that “Secretary Clinton’s plans are detailed and well-reasoned. On the economy, she will build on our apprenticeship and training programs, expand and improve freight transportation and transit and address environmental concerns with investments in energy efficiency. All of these involve jobs that members earn their living in every day.”

Nice to see that you're blindly accepting whatever bullhockey Clinton feeds you.

Of course you can stand with anyone you like but if you stand with the Establishment, the Wealthy 1%, the banksters that crashed the market for profits, then it's only fair to question whether you really believe in Democratic (and democratic as far as that goes) principles.

It's very simple: Clinton is a wealthy member of the 1%, the American Aristocrats, and has close relationships with those that brought the crash of 2008. While Sen Sanders is appealing to those that are outspoken against the corruption of the Wash DC Establishment.

I bet most of Clinton's endorsement get negotiated over martini's. In Nov the honest hardworking Americans will stand up to the plutocrats that use their money to run our government.

Nope.

SMART surveyed its diverse membership on the 2016 election in December. The poll focused on issues, not candidates, in order for member feedback to guide the union’s electoral efforts in every race, at every level, in 2016 and beyond.

Members overwhelmingly chose jobs and the economy as their most vital interest. On qualifications, members indicated they want leaders to possess the competency, broad experience and serious approach necessary to tackle the nation’s difficult domestic and international challenges.

These, combined with the membership’s preference, led the SMART General Executive Council to approve Secretary Clinton for the Union’s support.

Seems union leadership has no problem throwing it's own members under buses.

BTW, I am not thick...I understand there are folks who believe just about every HRC endorsement is illegitimate. That begs the question. If nobody likes her she is going to get crushed in the Primary so why complain now?

Just sit back and relax and have the last laugh at poor Ole DSB's expense.

I guess we will be finding out soon if that hypothesis is correct.

Strawman. No one has made that claim. People in power, the Establishment, Goldman-Sachs and other crooked banksters, Wall Street, the Wealth 1%, all love her and will use their powers (of which you apparently appreciate) to push their candidate HRC into the WH. They think the People be damned. They will use every trick at their disposal including the corporate media that I am guessing you are giving a pass to as long as they support HRC. They will use Citizens United to HRC's advantage, and again apparently her supporters are ok with that.

In Sen Sanders a movement is growing. A movement for honesty in government and an end to the corruption of Big Money. All Democrats should be on board.

of the Establishment. So do you embrace the Establishment? Those that brought us the Iraq War and the Banking "Crash"? The Wealthy 1% that has sent our jobs to China and kicked millions out of their homes? The Establishment that has given us a huge prison population, militarized the local police and Prisons for Profit. H. Clinton represents the Establishment, which is not surprising since she has a huge personal fortune of her own. I am sure she sympathizes with us but not to the extent where the profits of the Aristocracy are endangered.
