She had a Sarah Palin world salad moment with that whole section of her presentation.

I think we all knew what she was getting at. But she has been for LGBT equality since 1975? Baloney. I'd call bullshit on that for pretty much 99% of all US politicians except for Harvey Milk.

Besides, that wasn't just one moment. She was on record as opposing same sex marriage until the polls showed that a majority of Americans supported it.

She is, was and will always be in the bottom 47% of the entire population on this issue. Not just the bottom 47% of politicians. The bottom 47% of every person in America.

What she said was a flat out uncomplicated lie.

I think all she saw was the poll numbers, but neither of us will ever be able to prove why she flipped. Only that she did it after the polls showed that over half the country was in favor of marriage equality.

I understand what you are trying to say, and I am also glad she saw the light on this issue.

However, to folks who were born before you, her stating she's been on the right side for 40 years is disingenuous at BEST and an outright fabrication at WORST. It is a lie, a bold face lie at that.

I could go through a whole laundry list of things that occurred before my birth, but are still relevant to the discussion today.

an over-exaggeration. I think she is trying prove her bona fides and played a little word salad here. She's desperate, she's nervous, she's on live national TV and scared to death that Bernie is going to whip her in Iowa, so she word salad-ed it.

I've heard far worse actual lies.
