CORALVILLE — Nearly 500 people showed up in Coralville Friday night for a Clinton rally. It wasn’t always clear if they were there for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton first or to see her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who was headlining the rally.

“He’s definitely my favorite president,” Blen Alemayehu of Iowa City said about the former president who has been busy on the campaign trail as the as the race has tightened in the closing weeks.

Nearby, Moussa Diouf, also of Iowa City, was definitely there to support the former first lady.

“I know her better because she was here eight years ago,” he said. However, he only decided Thursday to support Clinton rather than Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

“Because of her determination,” he explained. “I like people who don’t quit.”

There’s no quit in her, President Clinton said, affirming this sentiment as he recited details of his wife’s biography.

So, there are two candidates who don't quit, but Moussa Diouf chooses one because... she doesn't quit.

Here's the challenge and it's a tricky one for you, Bill, because it involves telling the truth with facts, - no bullshit like I suspect in the above claim:

List the changes she's primarily responsibly for:

Her support for women and families is often overlooked, but she has been fighting for us here and all over the world. Her book "It Takes a Village" deserves a read. The false memes of her all over, and sadly here on DU as well, are shameful.

She does know how to make changes!

She makes them all the time!

Wait until the next focus group is finished, and more changes will be made!

accomplished woman in her generation too.

The fact is that OBAMA is more of a change maker than his wife is. I don't think she even pushed for change in the Senate. She did not postulate any big idea changes to anything - domestic or foreign policy.

As Secretary of State, she pushed for a more hawkish policy than Obama and was rewarded with praise from the various neo liberal foreign policy experts that CNN, the NYT and WP are so fond of quoting. That was not change but continuation of the status quo. In fact, the change that she is credited with is the PIVOT TO ASIA - which to best of my ability to understand - is mostly the negotiation of TPP, which she now disavows.

If you need an Obama SoS as change maker -- it is John Kerry. Just the Iran deal, for which HRC's main accomplishment of getting international sanctions was important, but not a change. There are some, Netanyahu, Michael O'Hanlon and other neoliberals who even saw strict sanctions as a solution on their own. Kerry and Zarif changed - at least while negotiating - the relationship between the US and Iran. ( http://pollingreport.com/clinton1.htm ) Kerry also was a change agent with regards to the Paris climate change agreement, preceded by the US/China climate pact.
