If you have a problem with this, take it up with Schultz, Bernie has been and is still asking for more SANCTIONED debates in the most recent case, states that have been under-served by political campaigning this season, that being Illinois, Ohio, California and New York.
Furthermore Bernie has stated he would be willing to debate in New Hampshire if Schultz's DNC SANCTIONS it.
Having said that I believe Schultz will come around and sanction the New Hampshire debate, if Bernie starts dramatically leading Hillary in the Iowa polls or wins that caucus.
For now the race in Iowa is too close to call, so Schultz is just biding her time.

If the candidates all want a debate, she should shut up.

(58,355 posts)I do believe Schultz could very likely pull the plug on the last two sanctioned debates because this would help Hillary.
From an OP by cali.
How much better known than Bernie is Hillary? A lot.
<snip>
A new poll conducted by Morning Consult and Vox surveyed registered voters to see how many could correctly identify photos of the 2016 presidential candidates compared to a few very prominent celebrities.
Ninety-seven percent of the 2,028 people polled last week correctly identified Hillary Clinton; 96 percent correctly identified Donald Trump.
<snip>
Fifty-six percent, which is even less than the percentage that recognized Jeb Bush (77 percent), Bernie Sanders (69 percent), and Ted Cruz (61 percent).

Exposure to Bernie and his message is the last thing that Schultz wants, that's why she has so adamantly refused to sanction more debates and scheduled them for such ridiculous times when they would least likely be viewed by the American People.
Schultz is/was hoping that Hillary's name recognition alone would propel her to the nomination.

(8,462 posts)I can hear it now. "He never deserved to be the nominee because he wouldn't even listen to the Party..."
Uncle Joe
(58,355 posts)all three candidates were to attend a non-sanctioned debate, Schultz would cancel the two remaining sanctioned debates because she knows Hillary with greater name recognition would benefit and this would curtail more exposure for Bernie and his message to the people.
Uncle Joe
(58,355 posts)debate in the one state that Bernie is leading the most in, Schultz refuses to sanction it and Hillary; who for months has stated she would only attend debates sanctioned by the DNC while she was greatly leading in the race, "suddenly comes to Jesus."
The hypocrisy is mind boggling.

(5,066 posts)the DNC and Clinton campagin hoped it would be over after Nh or at very least SC.It doesn't seem like it will be.even clinton people are saying this fight could go into april/may.
Uncle Joe
(58,355 posts)Even though the Clinton team has sought to convey that it has built a national operation, the campaign has invested much of its resources in the Feb. 1 caucuses in Iowa, hoping that a victory there could marginalize Mr. Sanders and set Mrs. Clinton on the path to the nomination. As much as 90 percent of the campaigns resources are now split between Iowa and the Brooklyn headquarters...

I put the odds of Schultz sanctioning the New Hampshire debate at approximately 78.45% at this point in our space time continuum.
