Clinton goes Negative on Bernie in Closing Iowa Ad

http://www.cnn.com/2016/01/27/politics/hillary-clinton-ad-bernie-sanders/index.html

The ad, which ran in Des Moines on Wednesday morning, questions Sanders' ability to "actually make a difference for you," while casting Clinton as the person "with the experience and determination to get the job done."

"The time has come to make a choice, about which candidate can actually make a difference for you," a narrator says.

While Clinton has stepped up the attacks on Sanders in the last two weeks, she has vacillated between knocking the Vermont senator, who is running close with Clinton in Iowa, and pushing her own platform and message.

"[Clinton] will build on Obamacare, not start over, break through the gridlock, not add to it, defend Planned Parenthood, not attack it, stand up to the gun lobby, not protect it, lead on foreign policy, not ignore it," the narrator adds in a not-so-subtle knock against the Vermont senator.

This is a shame.

his ad was based on facts, hers is an opinion which makes it personal.

Has HRC taken money from the financial industry?
Yes (FACT)

Over the years, have financial contributions influenced a politicians governing?
Yes (FACT, look at Obama & 2008, not to mention HRCs bail out vote)

bernie goes postive while she goes negative.

she is defently worried about iowa.otherwise she wouldn't go negative.the line of attacks remind me of 2008.and how well did
that work for her? It didn't.guy she attacked is in his last year of his second term.

Obviously, whatever they were doing about Bernie wasn't working. So they tried something different. That much I can't blame them for.

Unfortunately, we've all seen this act before with Obama so it's predictable, tired and not as many folks are going to get sucked in the second time around. Lying about Bernie or misrepresenting him is going to backfire (as it already has to some extent). It breeds the question "why can't Hillary win with the truth?"

It's like a used car salesman, you know, you get a queasy feeling you're getting sleazed. It's a turn off.

If you cannot win a debate with honest statements, you're really admitting to your audience that you have something inferior to sell them. People's bullshit detectors wildly go off and it's game over.

It was the Clinton administration attempt at healthcare and she was in charge. She also had a chance, as Senator, to keep us out of an unnecessary war that cost thousands of American lives and a trillion dollars and she failed. Compared to John Kerry, I can't think of a thing she did as Secretary of State that amounted to anything. When her husband was POTUS, he capitulated to Republicans to enact bills that have been devastating to the country. Will she be any different? Yesterday, I heard someone refer to Hillary and Bernie as "both being progressives." How ridiculous. Bernie has brought Hillary kicking and screaming to the left on a few issues, but if she's the nominee she'll be making a beeline to the right again, guaranteed.

Thanks to Clinton, instead of retiring comfortably about 3 years from now, I'll have to work another 8 years and then live on half the income. I'll be 70 if I live that long. That's enough Clinton change for my lifetime.
