2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumCNN is gobsmacked that Bernie raised 20 mil in a month
They questioned if it was for a quarter instead of the month of January, the reporter said that would be a big haul for just one month. They just can not handle the truth.

(18,998 posts)Most of those CNN reporters live and work in a bubble and have little contact with the "little people".
So sure they are shocked because they believed their own propaganda that Bernie can't win...and are shocked when they find out that millions did not believe the shit they put on the air.

I'm fairly certain if I sounded weird enough they'd put me on
Talking about Global Warming is Climate Scientist X who has spent 25 years studying the effects of climate change. He has a PhD is in Meteorology and Oceanography, has written 50 peer reviewed articles on the subject and in opposition is rpannier who has looked at the skies and oceans from his window and saw snow fall last week, and knows for certain that it's not man made, but rather a sign of the return of the derpies.

(50,986 posts)out there. I think that position is still FOX. But there's room for improvement at CNN.
The news networks generally are not geared to people who are sending Bernie Sanders checks. They play to more of the business class. It strikes a tone right out of the gate that suggests that no apple cart should be upended, that no feathers should be ruffled, and in general, avoid anything that's too hot to handle.
How many Bernie Sanders supporters' incomes would it take to equal what Wolf Blitzer makes? I'm thinking quite a damn few. There's no sense at a major news network that the country is compromised of a hell of a lot more of those lower-income folks than it is of folks who make what Blitzer makes.
