So the other day I'm listening to Rush Limbaugh

I know, I know--why on earth would anyone put themselves through that hell.

But I put it on for a few minutes from time to time just to hear the thoughts and brainswashing from the right. So anyway--Rush's contention is that the scary thing about Bernie is that he's attracting the "freeloaders". If you vote for Bernie you're a freeloader.

That's what he's selling.

I thought about myself--working since I'm 16 years old(now in my 50s), military veteran, father of two and married to a wonderful woman for 30 years. And a huge Bernie supporter.

And I thought about the other hard working Bernie supporters--some young, some older--hard working Americans who care about their country and their place in it.

And I wondered briefly if Rush truly believed his nonsense or if it was just easy to sell so that his popularity can be easily dismissed by the so-called "Real" Americans--his dittoheads.

This will all be part of the narrative going forward--not to mention the "communist" stuff they're starting to push hard.

It occurred to me that just like the establishment on the left--the right power brokers are terrified of Bernie. And now--they take him as a serious threat.

Of course--the idiots who follow Limbaugh will buy all of this hook, line and sinker.

But it isn't reality.

Told the accuser that I work full time, make good money and pay taxes.

The person told me they hoped I would like my taxes going up.

I said, "I don't mind. My taxes would go up $446, but I'd save $4,500 by not paying a private company for some access to healthcare."

They were stunned.

But if Hillary wins, they say they will vote for whoever is on the other side.
One guy at work has a Bernie sticker on his car and an old McCain-Palin bumper sticker.
If I can remember, I'll take a picture of his bumper on Monday and post it.

Are they so confident that if Bernie wins the primary he will be labelled a - take your pick-Socialist, Communist, Far-leaning radical, etc. - and that will sway the fence sitters to the Repuke side? Is that really their intent? Rush Limberger and his Operation Chaos?

I do project engineering and these guys are certified welders/mechanics. I don't think they have any sort of voting strategy in mind that you mention.

Operation Chaos flopped when he had far more influence. I doubt most who listen to him would vote for a Democrat anyway. Ted Cruz or Huckabee is more their speed.

I think Bernie is attracting those Independents who tend to vote Republican. Considering the Republican presidential field, and the Republican hate for anything Clinton, Bernie is their only logical choice.

a relative of mine repeats that 'if they government takes care of people it will make them lazy' thing - and she's a moderate.

I'd suggest we think about how to shut that down and counter it.
