Dear Republicans, Don't Blame Mitt Romney. Blame Your Lousy Agenda
Look, it's not your messenger that's the problem. It's your message. So many of you want to lay blame on Mitt's poor communicaiton skills for your terrible showing in the polls, when the reality of the matter is that the people don't believe in your policies.
If the Republicans lose this election, that makes 4 out of the last 6 presidential elections going to the Democrats. Your only two wins were: 2000 in which the SCOTUS gave you that one and 2004 which the 9/11 hijackers gave you. The lesson here is that unless there are unusual circumstances surrounding the elections, your candidate loses.
Why? Because the American people, outside of the Fox demo, know that cutting taxes on the wealthy and gutting social safety net programs DO NOTHING FOR CREATING JOBS!!! Sane voters know this.
The rest of your agenda, homphobia, anti-reproduction rights for women, racism against African Americans and Latinos, anti-Muslim, anti-union, and anti-elderly, is filled with hate and is completely out of step with a diverse nation. Because you preach out right hate to so many different groups, you wind up with a tiny minority of unoffended people.
In the end, it doesn't matter who you nominate because your nominee has to carry all of your ugly bagagge to the nation, and no one has the communications skills to overcome that burden.
