Related: About this forumPeople ask, "why doesn't Bernie go on the attack against Hillary?"
Why does he not nail her to the wall with the truth that is already out there? I believe the answer is simple. And that is Bernie is not waging this fight against a primary opponent, or even a general election opponent. The fight he is asking us to engage with him is the fight to dismantle the decrepit establishment.
He understands that Hillary is simply another mouth that has discovered that suckling on the teat of Wall Street is the easy way to the top. So while what she does is simply what most politicians aspire to, it is the playing field and the rules of the game that are inherently corrupt, or lead to corrupt and unethical behavior.
Bernie is putting the system on trial. He is shining a light on the structural inequities that are baked in to the system. A system that benefits people like Hillary and her ethical standards. Therefore, attacking Hillary misses the point of his campaign.

(278 posts)in another thread.....he needn't "attack" her, he merely points out what "HE" won't do i.e. "Take advice from Kissinger"
He really didn't attack her in that exchange, he merely made a simple observation and a quip about what "He" wouldn't do and this somehow is an "ATTACK" against Hillary
Or
A Photographer chimes in and confirms that is in fact Bernie and not Rappaport....that somehow is Bernie attacking Hillary.

He has the truth on his side. I also do believe that if he doesn't become the nominee, that he will support her and he realizes that if he attacks her now, he may look like a hypocrite later. She doesn't seem to worry about those things.

(56 posts)Hillary is flawed and damaged beyond repair. The Republicans have been waiting for her since 2008 and all she has done is give them more ammunition. Blatant corruption has been her SOP since her cattle futures days, just ask Goldman Sachs.

Either he is well aware of this and it is a cynical ploy typical of his fellow career politicians, or he is alarmingly out of touch with what is going on around him outside his immediate bubble.

When asked about Wall St money HRC fakes a laugh and implies that everyone does it. That works to a point on TV but not when a supporter does it in person or here on DU.
