Question: Why Is Iran Purusing Nuclear Technology?

I think we can all agree that there is a good chance Iran's ultimate goal is to build nuclear bombs. But why? I do not expect the right wing loons to know the reason; they are fed right wing propaganda 24/7, constantly being told Iran is trying to "wipe out" Israel, which is asinine considering the level of power and sophistication of Israel Army which is second to none in the region.
The fact is, Iran would be the first to be demolished even if they try to attack Israel, with or without nukes.
Iran is surrounded by Muslim countries that are either invaded by USA, or are home to US troops and bases. Nukes will be used by Iran to deter invasions and also, to ultimately shift the balance of power in the region. This is what Israel is afraid of, not being wiped out. An Iran with nukes means Israel is no longer the sole dominant force in the region.
In no way I support the oppressive government of Iran, but facts are facts. Lets cut off the 24/7 media propaganda and tell it like it is.

2. I agree with you, Israel is feeling the pressure from a Nuclear Iran that would threaten

Israel's bulling and domination in the region. If Turkey had Nukes (and they should) Israel would hold them in greater respect.
