Did Santorum call for the end of state and fed funding for education?

Last night, Lawrence O'Donnell said he did, but I haven't heard any confirmation about when and where, etc.?
If this is true, Santorum is digging his own grave and won't even need Romney's help. Anyone know anything?

2. Found some coroboration

According to this, he called for the end of federal funding for education. He also home schooled all his 7 kids up to 8th grade.

He is always calling Obama arrogant and says Obama thinks he knows it all. Sounds like projection to me from the very Sanctimonious Santorum.

6. Cyber school

It caused a big stink here in the Pittsburgh area when it was revealed that Santorum used a small house he owned in Penn Hills to claim residency, which required the local school district to pay for some cyber school for his pack of kids in Virginia.

3. During a speech

O'Donnell said it was during a speech Santorum was giving last night while his show was on the air. I don't know where the transcript for that speech would be though.

He pulled his children out of college to work on a campaign which had NO CHANCE to succeed. And...ess home schooling the ones who weren't in college...pretty much the same way that Fred Phelps does things in Kansas.

7. Just heard confirmation on Ed Schultz

Santorum wants to take BOTH Federal and State money from education. Ed showed the clip. Unbelievable!

Listened to Ed Schultz radio show. Santorum was in NoDak when he gave the speech declaring the Federal and State governments should get out of public school education and leave it to local districts. Unbelievable..... and even more unbelievable since it has gotten no press except for Ed Schultze radio show today.
