Andrea Mitchell was left stunned and speechless today as Santorum backer, Martin Friess suggested that "gals just used to put an aspirin between their legs and it wasn't that expensive."

The GOP is so unbelievably screwed. And the Birth Control Panel today.. all male.

or the female condom as they used to say. Before insertion you had to smear it with a spermicide. Theory being if any of those little buggers managed to get in, the jelly would kill them. Unlike a male condom which could be discarded after sex, this lovely device had to be kept in place for 6 hours after. Great going to work with that inside. Problem is that we now know that sperm can live longer than 6 hours; hence the failure rate. Keep it in for lenthy periods of time? Apart from the "ick" factor, you could get an infection from prolonged "usage".
