Brand New Michigan Poll: HRC 65% (+5) Bernie 31% (+4)

EAST LANSING, Michigan --- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to dominate
Vermont U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders among likely Democratic Party Presidential Primary
voters in Michigan. Clinton leads Sanders 65%-31%, almost the same margin she had last week.
Only 4% of the voters remain undecided.
The IVR (Interactive Voice Response) automated survey of 344 likely March 2016 Michigan
Democratic Presidential Primary voters was conducted by Mitchell Research & Communications
February 23, 2016. The poll has a Margin of Error of + or – 5.28% at the 95% level of confidence.
“Hillary Clinton continues to lead Bernie Sanders by a large margin after her victory in the
Nevada Caucuses. She climbed 5% while Sanders gained 4% since our last survey. It is clear,
Clinton is on the way to a huge victory in Michigan March 8th
,” Steve Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell
Research & Communications said.
Here are the results by key demographics:
By age:
 Sanders leads Clinton 58% to 39% with 18-39 year olds.
 Clinton leads Sanders 52% to 48% with 40-49 year olds.
 Clinton leads 62%-33% with voters 50-59.
 Clinton leads 65%-29% with voters 60-69.
 Clinton (82%) leads Sanders (16%) with voters 70 and older.

 Clinton leads with men 57%-37%.
 Clinton leads with women 71%-26%.
By race:
 Clinton is ahead with white voters 61%-35%.
 Clinton has a huge 84%-13% lead with African-Americans.
By area:
 In Wayne County, Clinton leads 76%-17%.
 In Oakland, Clinton leads 73%-28%.
 In Macomb, Clinton leads 80%-20%.
 In Saginaw, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland, the Thumb, Clinton leads 63%-35%.
 In Washtenaw, Monroe, Mid-Michigan, Clinton leads 58%-37%.
 In West Michigan, Clinton leads 61%-32%.
 In Northern MI/Upper Peninsula, Clinton and Sanders are tied at 47%.

This interests me. I moved here in August and haven't seen one Clinton sign or sticker. Everyone I speak to is either voting for Sanders or Trump and those are the signs I see.

Suspect.

In any case, look at how much narrower Clinton's lead is in the "Washtenaw + other MI" categories. That tells you how Sanders is doing in Washtenaw.
