Wait! What?

From the various threads on low Dem voter turnout and registration, I thought Bernie's revolution would pull that secret super 'progressive' majority out of the shadows! You mean they - and the much coveted yet rarely meaningful youth vote - need to have their hands held by Hillary and DWS? And it's now DWS's job to court and register them to vote?

A couple of millennials figured out what "single payer" meant. They were just devastated when they realized that they would actually have to pay for insurance because single payer means paying for something.

You have a candidate whose message is resonating with a LOT of people. Bringing new people in. Even if its not enough at this point to overcome the Clintonian Stranglehold on the Democrat machinery, it's a hell of a lot.

But you dismiss, ignore, insult them and squash their enthusiasm, and you lose at least a significant number.

Meanwhile on the otehr side you have a guy who IS generating new excitement in the GOP and shaking them up. Bringing in new people, The GOP Establishment hates it, but they'll be smart enough to embrace it if he keeps going.

Result: Likely shortfall of Clinton voters in November.

This is a wonderful strategy to tell a whole lot of potential emerging Democrats that you don't want them, and they don't matter.

Keep it up. Donald and the GOP thank you.

the voters out and build the coalition. If Hillary wants the voter, she needs to convince them to support her. Same goes for Bernie. And same goes in the primary and the general.

He got more votes than Obama did in the only state decided by popular vote.

As for DWS and the DNC, they are pretty useless. They should be supporting turnout and working to make it higher. Hopefully they will become more effective by the General.

I anticipate HIllary will lead on one, but not the other.

Unfortunately, it is almost certain that Bernie will trail by a small percentage in the pledged count. But by then only about 25% of the pledged delegates will have been allocated. In short,it will still be competitive.

"Bernie Sanders Won the Most Votes Ever in a New Hampshire Presidential Primary"

Iowa had a very shady caucus

Iowa party boss holding onto contested vote totals drives car with the license plate ‘HRC 2016’"

AND Nevada had another caucus that was full.of issues including workers having to leave before voting after waiting in line for hours, we don't really have the final word on turnout.

LAS VEGAS — When people went out to caucus in Nevada on Saturday it was a messy display of democracy — long lines, computer problems, reports of voters who were turned away, and even misidentified registration information were reported to ATTN: and other media organizations, including the Reno Gazette-Journal and The Hill. At one location, voting came down to the gambling state's bizarre luck of the draw system.

SOME PEOPLE HAD TO WAIT HOURS TO CAUCUS IN NEVADA.

Caucus day in Las Vegas is confusing, considering that there are hundreds of tourists from all over the world who aren't there to participate in U.S. politics on the state level. But what's most notable, to any reporter or anyone who lives in Nevada who participated in the Democratic presidential caucus, is that there was massive confusion and voters who spent several hours of their time at multiple locations across the state waiting to cast their ballot. At several casinos and retail locations in Las Vegas, workers told ATTN: that they couldn't caucus because they couldn't take the day off of work. Those who did had to rush back to their shifts.

John Daniels, a cook, was visibly annoyed with the long line.
