link; excerpt:

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Donald Trump holds a big lead in Alabama and Oklahoma -- one that would box out everyone else for delegates in Alabama, according to a new poll.

On the Democratic side of the race, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders split the states, with Clinton holding a big lead in Alabama and Sanders a small one in Oklahoma, according to the Monmouth University survey out Monday.

Both states vote in Tuesday's big primary day.... In Oklahoma, Sanders leads Clinton 48% to 43%...

2. In the margin of error.

On the Democratic side, Clinton leads Sanders 71% to 23% in Alabama among likely Democratic voters. In Oklahoma, Sanders leads Clinton 48% to 43%, buoyed by a much whiter Democratic electorate than in Alabama. Half the likely voters in each state say they are set on their candidate.

Monmouth surveyed 450 likely Republican voters in Alabama, 403 likely Republican voters in Oklahoma, and 300 likely Democratic voters in each state from February 25 to 28 for the poll. The margin of error is plus or minus 4.6 percentage points in the GOP primary in Alabama, 4.9% in Oklahoma and 5.7% on the Democratic side in both states.

or thereabouts.

Big whoop.

And now all those who minimized the South Carolina results can chime in and say "But Democrats aren't going to carry Oklahoma in the GE anyway, so those results don't matter".

I think we would get to call that margin a win for Clinton. A huge win considering some of the talk coming out of states Sanders "lost". lol

The trend in verbiage of who matters and who doesn't is more clear than they think.

(compared to, say, 222 pledged delegates at stake in Texas, where Clinton leads by an average of 66% to 33%). He might get a 4-6 delegates advantage out of Oklahoma, but the math is getting increasingly difficult. Winning states is not the game, winning delegates is.

If only to go back and throw it in the faces of the people who spent all last year sneering about how Bernie would only win Vermont and New Hampshire.

I'm childish like that.

(not a pun on OK!). Knock yourself out throwing things in people's faces. I'll remove myself from the game.

Bernie has to carry 4 states above a +10 and keep all other states to under -10 to even remain close.

and went on a drive to look for yard signs. We didn't see a single Hillary sign. We saw a few for Bernie but the vast majority were for Trump. God help us.
I predict OK will be the next state to follow TX down the rabbit hole and permit guns on campus. I am not going to be one of those that says if any R is elected I will move to Canada - however IF we permit carry on campus in OK - where my husband works, resumes will be sent out to other states.
