Former MSNBC host Ed Schultz loses it on CNN while defending Bernie Sanders
February 28, 2016 4:24 PM MST
Losing by over 40 points, Sanders didn't even show up in the Palmetto State since his campaign projected similar results. Hillary Clinton earned 39 delegates to add to her lead, with the hope that Tuesday's election can start hammering the nail in the Sanders' campaign. This issue was discussed during a Feb. 28 interview on CNN, as reported by Mediaite.
Since severing ties with MSNBC in 2015, popular liberal commentator Ed Schultz has since signed on to RT American, a Russian backed news channel based out of Washington, D.C.. Schultz, a staunch supporter of Sanders, got into a heated exchange with David Brock, the head of a pro-Clinton Super PAC and founder of the liberal Media Matters website. ............................
Schultz and other progressive voices have been let go MSNBC over the last year as the network has attempted to re-brand their image. Once a proud voice for liberal and progressive values, MSNBC has shifted some of their programming to a more traditional breaking news-style coverage.

(58,785 posts)Listening to this, though, was just like reading some of DU's far right/far left anti-Hillary posts. Brock is on my permanent shyt list and will never come off, but it was really strange to see him actually holding the high ground here. Pathetic statement on Schultz's performance, and he joins Brock on that list. I've used up all my tolerance right here on this forum for mean-spirited and dishonest zealots.
