No Shame for Bill and Hillary: Entitlement Has No Boundaries

Shame for Bill and Hillary: Entitlement Has No Boundaries

From Lewinsky to Benghazi, the Clinton political playbook bursts with unapologetic contradictions
By Michael Sainato • 03/02/16 12:30pm

Bill Clinton has once again exhibited a lack of integrity.

During yesterday’s Super Tuesday primaries, the former president entered a polling station with Boston mayor Marty Walsh while campaigning for his wife in Massachusetts, a state that could have swayed for either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders. It is illegal to campaign within 150 feet of a polling station, and given that he was an elected official for several years, Mr. Clinton was certainly aware he was breaking the rules.

Mr. Clinton defended himself, arguing he did not campaign or approach voters. But, because of his notoriety, he didn’t need to approach anyone—they were bound to confront him. When one voter asked for a photo with Mr. Clinton, he smugly responded, “as long as we’re not violating any election laws.” He knew there would be no reprehension because of his powerful political status, while in 2008 he continuously accused the Obama campaign of voter intimidation.

If Jane Sanders or the spouse of any Republican presidential candidate were to do what Mr. Clinton did, there would be outrage from the Clinton campaign in retaliation.

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton have demonstrated disrespect for their constituency throughout their political careers, and this has been epitomized by their recent interactions with protesters at their events.

When Clinton was elected in 1992, I was beyond elated. By the time 2000 rolled around, I was just ready for both he and Hillary to exit stage left as quietly and quickly as possible.

Bill Clinton has always considered himself a bit above the average law that limits mortal man, regardless of consequences.

While I don't excuse Bill Clinton's behavior, she knew exactly what she was doing the first time she tried to seduce him when by her own words, while walking down an Executive Wing hallway in front of him she pull her pants down to reveal her thong underwear. While it would have been nice if Bill had told someone to remove her from the West Wing at that moment, it soon became apparent which head he was thinking with. But she was an adult and she knew very well what she was doing so lets not make her more of a victim than she already has been portrayed.

She also had an affair with a married man while she was in college. The man had children and she came on to him in his home where his wife and children lived. The girl had no shame.

Sorry, but you're talking to a woman; this tactic will never work with me.

Don't blame her for what Bill did.

What we're talking about is how she was treated afterward, including how the Clintons treated her. Hillary called her a "narcissistic looney tunes." The public shaming of this young woman nearly killed her; the hate messages were huge and overwhelming for her. Her mother would sit by her bedside every night to comfort her until she could sleep. Her family was so afraid she would kill herself that they made her leave the bathroom door open when she showered. She ended up with a huge case of PTSD, while the hardened Clintons went on to sell their "speaking" services to the highest bidders and pursue more and more power, which they're still doing.

with those things they called "gifts" things including furniture and silverware, things they later had to returen, they were not the type we should have placed there in the first place. I can't understand why so many appear to be ready to send them back again, short memory and history being white washed in schools or what? I do have to say, the millennials appear to be onto them, that's a good thing, maybe it's because they aren't brainwashed by the MSM.

Egomania is self obsession.
Megalomania is more grand with a belief in impunity from consequences.

One is more local and the other more global.

Egomaniacs can be functional if they manage themselves, megalomaniacs have to try to rule the world.

I AM DONE.

I thought that I had lowered my expectations in this election. But to have this outrageous theft of voting by blocking voting by Bill/Hillary Clinton is beyond the pale.

Bill Clinton, for those of you who haven’t heard, crisscrossed all over Massachusetts voting stations, and BLOCKED THE VOTING FOR SEVERAL HOURS while people were held in line to wait or told to come back. He blocked the vote of citizens of this country and used a bullhorn to urge people to vote for Hillary right within the polling station immediate area in violation of Massachusetts law, apparently. Coincidentally, this happened in heavily Sanders areas.

People do not have hours to wait in line to vote. They have work to get back to, children to pick up, apppointments to keep, and some people are not physically able to withstand that long a wait. This amounts to blocking the voting. I just cannot believe that this has happened. And so openly.

IS THIS A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY?

It appears the actual feeling of power that some appear to be feeling because of the way this election is going is amazing. History appears to have faded away, and facts don't even matter anymore, it's as if many are saying, I'm afraid of Trump and the rest of the republicans so I'm going to vote for someone who will be a tiny bit less detrimental to my life and the problems I face. I'm choosing them because they are familiar and I think maybe this time they will make up for what they did to me last time. That other guy, well I don't know him, and Hillary and Bill say he won't be able to pay for what he is advocating so I'll just take whatever I can get from the Clintons and forget giving the guy who has been fighting his entire life for the rights of the middle class and poor an opportunity to try to make a difference. It's really sad watching this play out.

At least that's what I'm understanding from some people here - that as long as the broadcaster's toes are outside the 150 foot line, amps, loudspeakers, bullhorns are fine.

I assume from this that many DUers would be fine with polling stations running trump speeches through a PA system while people are voting, as long as the trump is broadcasting from 150.1 feet away.
