Hillary supporters lie of the day, I guess, How many TRILLIONS will Bernie tax you???

I've seen this in a number of posts and comments today about the Trillions of dollars Bernie is going to tax you. Of course, anyone paying attention should know by now that there must be some kind of wacky distortion here because the Hill-bots are pushing it so much today.
Here are Bernie's proposals and also how he plans to pay for them. He is not charging regular people for them. If you look at how he proposes to fund each of his programs, it is, for example, taxing corporations for their off shore income, or making a Wall Street speculation tax (a very small tax on speculative trading) that will raise a lot of money, etc. Things that most people are behind anyway.
They want to give the impression that our taxes will go up to 50% or something whereas the facts are complete different.

Here's the chart .. look at the funding.

It is easier for Hillary to try to distort Bernie's plan than to make actual plans of her own. Her plan seems to be "he's totally wrong, but I will make America better for everyone." Now, that's real specific. Afraid to put concrete plans and positions on paper because it will be harder for her to switch them 180 degrees later when it's convenient.

are a positive so arguing for or against any possible increase is just a red herring. They're trying to distract from the good.

To them Hillary can and never did any wrong. She's perfect and is a victim of BernieBros.
Her vote on Iraq is forgiven, Her support AGAINST gay marriage never happened.
She only took all that money from Goldman cause that's what they were willing to pay her when she told them to cut it out.

It's ok that she was for TPP until it became unpopular and she was running for President.

They seem to be

I went through the entire 50 page analysis.

The proposed taxes the analysis included was everything that went into not just healthcare - but family leave, expanding and securing Social Security, public college tuition free, a Jobs Bill, a Youth Program, a carbon tax to affect climate change.

It also said that the increase for the lowest tax bracket would be $165 a year. Not a bad amount for the savings they would get and the benefits they would get from the above.

The analysis also said that the middle income bracket (which I had a hard time figuring out - but think from the "notes" below a chart it is $80,000) which would pay $4,700. Again, given the savings and benefits a pretty good deal.

Where they used "average" they were using an average of everyone - which includes the significant increase on people making an adjusted (remember, that's adjusted so they are actually making much more) income of $10 million! If you use that and do an average - obviously the average is going to be higher than one would want. But it's bogus to use an average when talking about large increases over $10 million.

We live in a soundbite and twitter universe. Unfortunately, things like TAXES!!!!!!, are not as easily discussed in that format. So anti-Sanders people like to resort to Republican fear-mongering.

Distortions are pretty much lies.
I mean, if you look into how they came up with those numbers, it is such a distortion that it's pretty much an outright lie.
