Hillary Calls for Michigan Gov’s Resignation an Hour After Her Spox Slammed Bernie for Same

Hillary Clinton started out tonight’s Democratic debate in Flint by announcing for the first time that she believes Michigan Governor Rick Snyder should resign or be recalled. But a Clinton campaign spokesman was saying something a bit different literally an hour earlier on CNN.

Brian Fallon spoke with Wolf Blitzer a little after 7 pm tonight. Blitzer brought up how, while Sanders had been calling for Snyder to resign, Clinton had not yet. Here’s how Fallon answered:

“I think that, in a nutshell, shows the difference in their two approaches. If the governor stepped down tomorrow, would that make a difference in the everyday lives of the people who are drinking contaminated water who can’t take showers, who can’t brush their teeth? What Hillary Clinton is doing is figuring out a way to make a difference.”

At tonight’s debate, Clinton called on Snyder to resign:

I wasn't sure we'd achieve it, but we have. She is now in full chameleon mode, and can actually effortlessly flip-flop within a single hour of a single day. To people who say Hillary's not talented, I think this is clear evidence of the opposite.

What he meant to say: "If the governor stepped down tomorrow, would that end racism?"

He probably just dropped his index cards before the show and couldn't get them back in order in time.
