(4,753 posts)AMAZING considering she was no longer a part of the government in any way. In other words, Hilary Clinton lied.

Also, mentioning is not the same as championing.
This BS meme pops up about once a week at DU.

(1,936 posts)YOU are the one who needs to try (with much condescension) using Google. Everything you'll find is from BEFORE the full text was released, about early Nov. 2015. So you go right ahead and try to find some negatives in TPP. Until then you got nothing but rank speculation from last year when TPP was this great unknown "albatross" people like you were unfairly trying to hang around Clinton's neck.

(6,007 posts)I have listened to experts who have. . . one lady gave a good overview. The thing that stood out to me is that there are something like 23 chapters and only 3 of them have to do with trade. The others are give-aways to corporations. She went through them all and gave a brief overview. . . it's really ugly.
So, don't give me your nonsense. I have heard similar things, all saying about the same thing, from a number of different sources.
I don't think we all need to be experts in everything. I don't have a degree in physics but I do trust them to design the airplanes I fly in. You look at the records of different airplanes and most are safe.
Similarly, if you hear a few different experts discuss it, I trust that. I don't have so much trust in someone like you who seems to imply that there are no negatives in it. That is NONSENSE.
Clinton hung it around her own neck. She went out on 45 separate occassions and called it the "gold standard" of trade deals. That is an outright lie. Of course, all we had to do was wait until the winds changed and suddenly she "evolved" and now, just like Bernie, she doesn't see it as a good thing. (except the head of the National Chamber of Commerce says he's sure she will be OK with it if she wins)
How do you trust that? Unless you are blindly subservient.

(1,936 posts)I also looked at the "45" times that Clinton supposedly endorsed the TPP. I Actually read the whole post when it was posted at DU, and it's actually less than 10. The rest were just her mentioning it. So that "45 times" line is just a CROCK OF SHIT.
I never said there were no negatives in TPP. You just like to believe what you want to believe - the enemy MUST be totally wrong and evil. There are in fact a few minor problems with TPP but the positives far outweigh them. So I take it you are in favor of child labor and wiping out endangered species since you oppose TPP.
You are so totally prejudiced against Clinton that you believe other people who back up your preconceived notions without any real investigation on your part. Intellectually dishonest.
