.....drum roll.....
My opponent voted for it, before he voted against it.
"There are some people supporting my opponent, who apparently, just can stand the truth. But I'm going to tell the truth. He voted against the money that bailed out the auto industry."
Go get him Hillary!

(88,117 posts)I started this campaign perfectly willing to vote for her if she were the nominee. It never occurred to me it would be any other way.
What I have seen of her campaign, the racism, the pitting of races against each other, the faux attacks that take Bernie's strongest points and use them against him by false innuendos....it is all building up inside me.
I have never seen our party acting so badly. DWS is shutting at least half of us who are long-time Democrats because of her blatant support for Hillary.
The rules REQUIRE her to be neutral, but no on gives a damn about the fact she is not.
I have not decided yet what my final vote will be, but right now I am tired of being threatened. I have never voted anything but Democratic, and I am sick of the attacks.
So you go ahead with your attacks and be proud of her lies. It's not a very good idea.

Hillary Clinton is not one of us.
Hillary Clinton is a hackneyed, old fashioned machine politician.
Thank goodness we have a genuinely progressive alternative.

This Is Why Hillary Clinton's Comments About Nancy Reagan Still Matter
Her remarks on the late first lady's legacy on HIV and AIDS can't be forgotten.

(26,117 posts)Later, in December 2008, the Senate took up a separate bill that would have provided rescue funds specifically for the auto industry. That bill failed to get the 60-vote filibuster-proof minimum when Republicans balked at saving General Motors GM +1.43%, Ford and Chrysler, in large part because they wanted to use the occasion to try and destroy the United Auto Workers union, which stood to benefit from a bailout by having their healthcare fund and pensions protected, and its interests prioritized over bond holders. Both Clinton and Sanders voted for this bill.

I voted for the Iraq war before I regretted it.

I lobbied for the crime bill before I regretted it.
I lobbied for TPP before I regretted it.
I lobbied for welfare reform

(643 posts)This should never be excused away as "politics as usual." Lies are not ok. Yes, it's great that every time she does it Bernie's campaign is able to quickly refute it. Sometimes with comical pictures. It's kind of a combination of pathetic/funny. But HRC and her supporters have an awful lot of nerve if they expect us to support her if she wins the nomination. This is no way to run a campaign.
