Unless there are strings attached that it only goes to certain candidates. I didn't give money to him to have him turn around and give the monet the DNC to funnel to candidates like DWS.

To ensure that they go for actually progress instead of reinforcing self defeating centrist corporate policies.
That's assuming that he doesn't just use them in his own general election.
