Iowa police departments frustrated at Clinton Campaigns unpaid billsLast edited Sun Mar 13, 2016, 10:13 PM - Edit history (1) MARSHALLTOWN, Iowa -- The Clinton campaign says as soon as they receive an invoice, they'll pay the Des Moines Police Department for the services they provided at the Katy Perry concert last October. City Hall provided us a copy of the invoice that has already been sent. The invoice is dated November 19, 2015. The bill is nearly $1,800. http://whotv.com/2016/03/11/police-frustrated-with-clinton-campaign-over-unpaid-bills/ Trumps campaign was willing to pay their bills to the local department. Sanders paid for everything upfront. So why hasn't Clintons campaign bothered paying their bills yet? The most hilarious thing is the first paragraph - Her campaign tried smearing the Des Moines department saying that they never bothered sending a invoice for payment, so they never actually 'knew' what they owed. But, well... turns out the department had a copy of the invoice that was sent to her campaign last year, so... whoops?.

1. She had the same problem in 2008
I would say it was probably just an oversight, but based on the fact that her 2008 campaign also failed to pay vendors on time it gives me pause about her ability to manage the federal budget. You would think she would have learned from 2008.
Did she ever pay off all of her 2008 debt and pay her vendors back? I would assume so, but I don't remember ever hearing that all of her debt was paid off. |

3. Who "hears" that "all of her debt was paid off?"
You "hear" if it WASN'T.

7. No, you don't. Generally, it's only news if debts remain unpaid.
I'm sure her fans wouldn't miss an opportunity to note if she didn't pay bills from eight years ago.
Still, there was a purpose in dropping innuendo, wasn't there? |

14. LOL--did it ever???
It's in front of the hotel door in the morning, but a newspaper?
More like a light "infotainment" TV show...on paper! Look, you look hard enough, you'll find any story "reported." It didn't make the Five Big Headlines on the Nightly News, though. |

6. Got it
Now that you mention it I vaguely remember hearing that. I am glad to know she finally paid it back, and I hope her small vendors did not have to wait 5 years to get paid. I remember she said they would be given priority.
I wonder if she paid it off using the money from the speeches, since I don't remember her continuing to raise money after becoming SOS. I am pretty sure I donated a little bit to her repayment fund after the election, but I never got asked again so I assumed she had paid it off. |

8. The last unpaid amount was apparently to a polling firm.

9. That's right, I vaguely remember reading that
I forgot that she was so adamant about not running again. Has she said what changed her mind?

11. Petty
It's not like the candidate has anything to do with these minuscule reimbursements. Can we get any more petty?

17. I'll bet we could, and we probably will!!
Which is unfortunate...because we really should be trying to remain at least half way civil!
I'm not going to hold my breath, though. Oh look.... I was right! |

running on vapors.
