The remaining 44 National Convention delegates consist of
44 Unpledged PLEO delegates:
21 Democratic National Committee members.
20 Members of Congress (2 Senators and 18 Representatives).
1 Governor.
2 Distinguished Party Leaders (former President Bill Clinton and former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell).
These 44 delegates and will go to the Democratic National Convention officially "Unpledged".
