If your front porch is on fire --maybe better to postpone adding on that family room

In my 70 years I have not seen a more "clear and present" danger than Donald Trump. Real estate people I know would liken this to your front porch being on fire. As a Bernie supporter--except for my vote---I think putting Bernie in the GE against Trump is like adding the family room while the front porch is burning.

Nate Silver seems to be "Jimmie the Greek " on the prediction here and I am fearful of a divided Democratic Party will be a massive risk to our country.

Here's a 538 piece that presents it pretty well.

usually the vigilant Bernie fans will comment hard . fast, and often but it seems to be lowering down a bit---maybe they are seeing the front porch burning as Trump continues to win primaries.

Despite the best efforts of GOP and Bernie, Hillary has still gotten more votes than all the other candidates, proof positive, at the grass roots level, that Americans LIKE Hillary Clinton.

I started in 1983. Organized groups of activists have been targeting him for his racism and greed since not long after that. He was a regular target of the ACT UP NY Majority Committee. ACT UP called the committee for 'minorities' the Majority Committee because the majority of people with HIV/AIDS were racial and ethnic minorities. That is still the case.

Were you and Jimmy the Greek there or were you off somewhere with Hillary praising Ronald Reagan for doing the exact things he is infamous for refusing to do? How is it that you are just now aware of Trump?

I think he's less intimidating to those of us who are used to dealing with him. I mean, Hillary was socially pleasant to him and their daughters are friends. I would not share a smart cocktail with Donald. That has been the case since 1983. So Hillary and Bill have social contact with this clear and present danger they could not identify as such when millions of regular Americans could. Explain that.

Rather than building a family room, Sanders is talking about fixing the rotting and corrupt foundation.

We can both put out the fire and fix the foundation with a Democratic Party that actually stands up for THE PEOPLE instead of Corporate and Wall St. Oligarchs.

The guy who averages a bunch of polls and somehow gets thought of as a genius?

Anybody who doesn't realize that Trump is going to hammer Hillary on 2 critical issues where she is vulnerable and Bernie isn't (selling access and political influence to large contributors and supporting every major trade deal) either hasn't thought this out or is in the tank for Hillary, or both.
