Sanders backed out of Idaho newspaper interview. Must be too much work

for him to answer the specifics about Idaho. He generally gives he same stump speech over and over--oh--some variations for sure.

Sanders campaign seems unwilling to meet with press in Boise

Sanders team proposes, then withdraws, interview invitation

Candidate has no press interviews scheduled on Boise visit

.....Bernie Sanders brings his presidential campaign to Boise Monday after a Friday stop in Idaho Falls. The Sanders campaign called Thursday to offer the Statesman 30 minutes one-on-one with the Vermont senator ahead of his noon rally at Boise State University’s Taco Bell arena.

Of course, we said yes. What better way to get past the usual campaign talking points and quiz the candidate on topics of special interest to Idahoans? (Rocky Barker covers a few of those here.)

“What do you want to talk to him about?” they asked. I thought it was kind of an odd question. We don’t typically lay things out like that ahead of time, but in deference, I said we’d want to hear more about his views on topics like federal lands and land use policy, energy and the Idaho National Laboratory, statewide political and policy issues like this year’s debates on healthcare and minimum wage, not to mention drilling down for local angles on Sanders’s campaign themes.

“Great, we’ll see you Monday,” they told us.

When I called Friday to confirm our appointment, the message back was, “Sorry, schedule change. No can do.”

Bernie is just a bit busy with mass meetings and other events.

None of them are fund raisers with rich corporate and Wall Street folks.

Drop the nonsense about Bernie's isn't getting enough media coverage because he couldn't find time for an interview by a small circulation newspaper. Do you really expect any intelligent informed voter to fall for that silly cliam?

The facts have clearly demonstrated that he doesn't get nearly as much mass media coverage as the 24/7 Trump even though Bernie's
meetings are bigger than Trump's.

Why the corporate media even broadcast live coverage of an empty Trump podium for a half hour while ignoring Bernie's speech given to around 10 thousand people.

You didn't see the article on that?

you're correct, odd thing about a growing movement or revolution that involves citizens is how powerful they can force the hand of a party leader regardless os who's in the lead

so in terms of 'entertainment', you're absolutely correct, we're going to keep you 'entertained' indeed

So keep trying to pivot to the GE before this primary plays out

HRC will try to tact back right, GL with that, you'll need it

Both of them showed their incompetence during one on one interviews, so they stuck to the script, which is now Bernie's strategy.

Just enjoy the campaign parties and take some selfies. No adults allowed to question him! Ugh.
