2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHeadline this morning: "Clinton and Trump solidify their nominations with big wins in Arizona."
That was the headline I heard this morning on the radio.. no mention of Utah or Idaho.
Bernie's wins last night, although impressive, dont mean much in the grand scheme of things. Until he can string together some big wins in big diverse states few will notice.

(872 posts)oh, sweetie. pats the OP on the head. The MSM wouldn't "notice" unless he takes the oath of office.

(24,689 posts)If Bernie lacks that capability then we certainly cannot afford to have him as our nominee.

(643 posts)Now? Not so much. I turned on CNN this morning to hear them proclaim Clinton the big winner and show the delegate count that includes super delegates. I thought they were going to stop with the misleading counts? I'm done with them. Someone needs to get Michael Moore to make his next documentary on media coverage of this election.

(643 posts)When it's known to everyone that it's the delegate count that matters right now, not the super delegates. They have the option to have it appear much closer (and give a more honest representation) by not including the super delegates. Not sure I'm buying your argument.

(5,281 posts)looking like a typical "Survivor" series where the strong and ethical are the first to be eliminated from the process and we are left with the connivers and game players to choose from. Trump and Clinton: both with huge unfavorability ratings. Something is wrong with the rules of the game.
