98% vs. 97%

I just took the quiz at https://www.isidewith.com/ and answered all the questions absolutely honestly. The difference between Sanders and Clinton for me was 1%, 98% Sanders vs 97% Clinton.

The results I saw people post in a thread yesterday showed a similar small difference.

So if they are this close on all the issues how can people believe that Hillary Clinton is "just another Republican?"

I saw the same thing and wanted to post an OP like this, but I was too lazy, lol.

I was actually surprised some of the Bernie supporters on that thread were willing to post their complete results, showing those very small discrepancies in percentage.

There are some legitimate reasons for not supporting Hillary (though I do) but "she's just like a Republican" is really not one of them. It is nonsense.

9. Might I suggest that you take a second look at that site

and see their comparison methods.

There were some I disagreed with Sanders on based on him not having a response that they included. There were some I agreed with Clinton on similarly - both of which I think sort of invalidate the whole thing, but there ya go.

How can you trust Clinton? She seems to have many positions on every issue? Which is the real one? That is the trouble. Sometimes she does say great things, mostly an echo of a true leader, Bernie. BUT I just don't buy it coming from her. How can one side 97% with someone who is constantly shifting? Just asking so please be civil.

I agree. She can SAY anything (and often does) but what she says later will be different. And then her actions are another thing altogether.

4. Yeah, you'd have to REALLY CARE about the issues where they differ to get a fairly large discrepancy

All political jockeying involves hyper-focusing on the differences and "selling" those differences to people who often haven't thought much about said issue or most often aren't as passionate about it.

I wouldn't lend any credence to the results.

They need her to be evil right now.

My score was within 1% too.

Seems about right, as Bernie has always been a solid #2 choice for me.
