A couple more stats from Alaska's caucuses...

In Anchorage, over 5,000 people showed up to caucus, compared to 2,500 in 2008, which was the previous record.

Statewide, 10,000 people caucused, a 110% increase over 2008.

Right now Bernie has approximately 79% of the vote. (But Bernie isn't Obama. )

In '08 I caucused at Begich Middle School.

I think they decided to hold it there because it was a bigger venue, but it was still packed. A bit more organized than 2008, though.

because I've seen it posted here many times that Bernie's rallies and so on are inferior to Obama's in 2008. My tongue was firmly planted in my cheek.
