Cursory look at primary results to date - the state of the states. error fixed!

Last edited Sun Mar 27, 2016, 11:54 AM - Edit history (1)

Hillary won 9 red states (one of which - Missouri - barely) - AL, AR, GA, LA, MS, SC, TN, TX
6 purple states - AZ, FL, NV, NC, OH, VA
3 blue states (one of which - Iowa - barely) - IL, MA

Bernie won 5 red states - AK, ID, KS, NK, OK
1 purple -state - UT
8 blue states - CO, HI, ME, MI, MN, NH, VT, WA

18 states to go.

Just thought it was an interesting way to see the results so far - and yes, I am making some assumptions with the B/P/R designation in some cases based on recent voting history.

Happy Easter, all!

Many of the purple states that have occurred did not let independents have a voice in the primary. Which is very bizarre since Independents will be most needed in the purple states to secure wins there.

MI is Michigan. I think the one that's not right is on Hillary's top row. MS for Mississippi.

Can't happen fast enough at this point... Three years in India is long enough!
