I've seen a lot of grumbling about how the Sanders campaign is somehow grifting people just to line their own pockets.

But that's easily shown to be another distortion.

3. People do not realize the costs

when Sanders came to San Diego last Tuesday, a Harbor Police detail was assigned for perimeter security, A SPDP officer was by the Secret Service checking on media. The folks coming though the front had a signifiant PD presence. At night, when they left, half at least of the downtown assigned motorcycles were standing by. That be about 20... and that does not count what none of us was able to see.

4. When he came through Portland

There were TSA agents and Secret Service at each entrance of the Moda Center checking every bag and purse, everyone had to pass through metal detectors, and Portland Police officers were everywhere. Even Portland Fire was there. Not to mention renting the Moda Center itself!

as well as the K-9 units.

Pretty funny...if anyone is expert on knowing how to fleece, it would be Wall Street and the big banks.
