Hillary's Now Up to 55% Unfavorable

http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/hillary-clinton-favorable-rating

The only Republican she can beat is Trump, so the Hillary fans are hoping and praying that Trump won't self-destruct.

If she does get matched up against The Donald in November, she's not going to have much of a "coat-tail effect" lifting other Democrats into Congress with her 55% unfavorable rating. Moreover, given her own propensity to lie, she won't even be able to attack The Donald in any debate for being deceitful without seeming like a hypocrite.

The candidate who would easily beat Trump and lift the most Democrats into Congress is Bernie.

I think people are more concerned at getting things done--breaking the gridlock in DC. For that it is Hillary.

She is a Progressive who gets things done!

Hillary Clinton, Enemy of the Status Quo

The headline news from today's Washington Post poll is the astonishing unpopularity of Donald Trump. His net favorable rating is -37 percent: 30 percent like him and 67 percent don't. The other candidates have net negative ratings too, but nothing close to this.

On another subject, 69 percent of respondents claim to believe that the "current political system" is dysfunctional. I don't know whether to take that seriously, or just as a generalized gripe about politics. What's interesting, though, is who would do the most to address this. Trump is the top choice, unsurprisingly, but Hillary Clinton is close behind—which is a bit surprising. It certainly suggests, along with other evidence in this poll, that support for Hillary isn't just strong, but roughly as enthusiastic as it is for anyone else.

And I know the difference between "spin" versus reality. To be candid, I was trying to get you to go do some research in hopes that you might realize that she isn't.

Here is a fun piece from 2011 - it is filled with actual facts from the Congressional Record.

Republicans are ignoring him because they want him as the nominee. Their attacks will include Castro, waffling on gun rights, his inconsistency on the Iraq War (where he voted in 1998 to topple Saaddam and in 2001 to fund the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan), and bullshit like this: http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2016/01/bernie_sanders_before_political_office.html

No doubt, if he is the nominee, his favorability ratings will fall. Add to that the fact that part of the reason for his high favorabilities was that he was Mr. Irrelevant for most of his political career. He did not achieve any of his agenda, and though he had some good votes, he was nothing but a footnote. Should he be the nominee, the Republicans and their superpacs will seek to define him in the way that link I just provided tries to do.

Right now, the Republicans want Bernie because Hillary will be better funded, is more centrist, and they presume that most Bernie supporters will back her. If the election was held today, Bernie would more easily beat the Republicans, but the election is many months away and the Republicans are largely holding their fire.

So that you can have your talking point that she's not winning against the other Republican nominees like Bernie is. Yes you are correct. I bet Hillary folks are hoping its Trump, but don't act like Bernie folks aren't hoping its not Trump so that you can say it HAS to be Bernie since the polls say so. Lets not get holier than thou. Both sides have their "talking points"
