13. Sorry but the polls at the end NEVER showed the President with a solid lead in 2008.

It was bad polling then, and it's bad polling now.

And "The fundamentals of the economy are good".

That was the end of McCain, who still would be worlds better as President than Shitt Rmoney.

7. Obama wins Ohio
Mon Oct 22, 2012, 10:59 AM
Oct 2012

Obama had a 10 point lead in the Ohio Quinn poll over three weeks ago. A huge first debate occurred and Obama is up by five now. So, it took over three weeks an awful Obama first debate performance for Obama to drop by five points in Ohio. There are two weeks left and many have already voted. Barring an awful Obama debate performance tonight and an unforeseen October/November surprise, Obama will win Ohio.

Romney can't win without OH, IA, WI and NV. It's not just one state he needs, it's many and he
is losing in all of them, especially OH.

collapsed about 30 minutes later. People saw what republican policies did. Then they saw that that the Timberwolf Queen was only an 80 year old heartbeat away from the presidency. Honestly, we could have run an actual donkey and still won the whiteouse.

I am hoping people havent forgotten what got us into this mess. But there is that saying about betting against the stupidity of Americans.

things might change!

Thank you for this insightful thread. Are we to take it that you think one or both of the events in my post title are likely? Do you really expect events in the next 2 weeks to match the events in 2 months of 2008?

The situation now is very different from August 2008. So I really can't see what the point of this thread is. Why are the figure from then any more relevant than Sept 92, Sept 96, or Sept 2000?

17. The royal 'we'? No, I assumed you were talking to others as well, not just me
Mon Oct 22, 2012, 03:03 PM

Because your audience consists of me, and other people, 'we' is the correct pronoun to use, when I ask what you intend us to assume. Even now, when you have a post of mine to reply to, I'd think you are replying to 'us', if you can given us the reason you started the thread. I still can't work it out (you see, in that case, I can't speak for others).
