Hillary just said on MTP she feels bad for young Bernie Supporters for believing in Bernie.

And knowing the facts about her record and who is donating to her.

She pities them. Because they know what she is. I guess Hillary just thinks ignorance is bliss.

There's a difference between "being bold" and overpromising, with the latter being nothing more than a form of lying. The way Sanders has been promising things he can't deliver to people who truly need them is both shameful and cruel. The people who bought into it are deserving of sympathy.

The fact that he's also manipulating donation data to try and turn Clinton into some sort of bogeyman just makes it worse.

They just fooled a lot of people into believing they were the best choice. 25 years later we see the consequences in so many ways. The consequences of the Crime Bill, NAFTA, the war on drugs, financial deregulation, the Telecommunications Act, the virtual disappearance of anti-trust legislation. Just as a Democratic President couldn't have gotten away with going to China when Nixon did, I don't think a Republican President could have gotten through all the conservative legislation of the Clinton administration. And then of course, there is the takeover of the DNC by the DLC.

Question (Moody Blues, 1970)

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war

It's where we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need
In a world of persecution
That is burning in its greed

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
Because the truth is hard to swallow
That's what the wall of love is for

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me
It's more the way that you mean it
When you tell me what will be

And when you stop and think about it
You won't believe it's true
That all the love you've been giving
Has all been meant for you

I'm looking for someone to change my life
I'm looking for a miracle in my life
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me through

Between the silence of the mountains
And the crashing of the sea
There lies a land I once lived in
And she's waiting there for me

But in the gray of the morning
My mind becomes confused
Between the dead and the sleeping
And the road that I must choose

I'm looking for someone to change my life
I'm looking for a miracle in my life
And if you could see what it's done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me to
The land that I once knew
To learn as we grow old
The secrets of our souls

It's not the way that you say it
When you do those things to me
It's more the way you really mean it
When you tell me what will be

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door
With a thousand million questions
About hate and death and war

It's where we stop and look around us
There is nothing that we need
In a world of persecution
That is burning in its greed

Why do we never get an answer
When we're knocking at the door...

Remember what we learned the hard way -- if evil and corruption aren't stopped where it is now, it can always get worse. Under anyone but Bernie, it surely will. Clinton is toxic, a very close match for Nixon and will probably end her career the same way.

It serves them well in all kinds of areas to be interested in the thinking process. It makes a parents job really really easy when kids think. The best parenting I did, was insistently the kids thought things thru, generally by doing it with them. THey probably taught me as much as I taught them.

Now, at 18 and 21, thru those supposed teenage years, I can say, .... one does not have to experience all that turmoil if the kids trust in listening, and are able to do it. It is all about listening. That helps us avoid so many landmines. And to be outside of the box, one really has to listen.
