Wow. Bernie rejected Hillary's proposed April 14 debate date in NY, but he proposed it in January!

Geez Louise, Bernie.

From Bernie's website, January 30:

“After refusing for months to participate in more debates, Secretary Clinton requested that the Democratic National Committee rules be changed and that a new debate take place in New Hampshire next week. We agreed pending an agreement on three future debates in March, April and May. Unfortunately, the Clinton campaign has not accepted debates we proposed on March 3 in Michigan and April 14 in New York. They apparently agreed to May 24 in California. The Clinton campaign, after not accepting Michigan, now says they want it. We are pleased to do it on March 3 before the Michigan primary provided the Clinton campaign will agree to Brooklyn, New York, on April 14. Why won’t they debate in Brooklyn? What’s the matter with Brooklyn?”

What gives?

Because Bernie has nothing better to do than wait around and twiddle his thumbs anticipating the whims of herself.

This is one of the crazier things I have seen here.

What happened?

Was there new polling or something?

I thought this thing was in the bag.

<edit>

Meanwhile, Sanders’ event schedule was filling up, with Sanders scheduling high-profile rallies at major locations throughout the city, including in downtown Brooklyn and Manhattan, and some outdoors. Sanders received a difficult-to-obtain permit for a high-profile rally in a coveted Manhattan space on the evening of April 14 which has yet to be publicly announced.

I could be wrong, but think there is a rally on the 14th. More than likely, when the 14th wasn't agreed to back in January and the months followng, it's time to move n. Now, apparently the Clinton campaign is changing their mind at the last moment.

Again, I could be wrong about the rally.

but we know they are going to be this bad and worse up to the nomination. It's ugly to experience and a drain on one's resources, but at least there's an end in sight.

Well, sort of. If good happens and Bernie wins the nom, we'll have to deal with the crazies on the other side -- but somehow I think that will be easier. There won't be so many disappointments and regrets because we already know what Republicans are like. We can go all out on them.

So now Hill's team is telling us that Bernie should do back-to-back rally and debate, even though he doesn't have an army of paid aides to ease the way.

Bernie should do what is comfortable for him. Debates are important. Hope he stands his ground.

Waiting to hear from the Clinton camp if any of those dates will work with her.

We are supposed to be adults. I'm certain the 2 campaigns will find a date and time that works for both of them.

She already said no, now Hillary cannot just choose a date to make Sanders look bad. She is a coward, and specifically chose these dates because she knew Sanders couldn't agree to it.

Better luck next time.
