(42,862 posts)... is a far cry from helping the PARTY in its effort to make down-ticket Democratic candidates more competitive.
Is this quid-pro-quo? (Is that the right term?) Is Bernie saying that he's ONLY interested in helping Democrats who explicitly endorse him? That doesn't seem to be a very good way to run a revolution.
Hmmm... interesting. And revealing too.

(1,306 posts)...what about those three candidates? Are they running against Republicans? Has the party helped them in any way?
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)In what capacity and the exact extent of that help is something that's unknown to me since I'm not involved with any of their campaigns.
But what I can tell you is that it takes more than three congressional candidates to change things in Washington. It looks like he's just phoning-it-in with his selective and half-hearted and conditional efforts.
Not everything.

Bernie's "meeting with the Pope" is a Hail Mary pass. you only do that if you're down with seconds
The insanity from the Sanders crowd is at fever pitch.

(1,306 posts)I think Hillary Clinton is a great debater and has been unfairly criticized by the media (largely the conservative portion) for over two decades. She is a very willful person to have moved forward to where she is today, I'd be proud to have a woman break the glass ceiling and then proud to hold her accountable to her progressive pledges.

"Not Everything"......really?
... but what you've actually done is to quote the words of others in a ham-fisted attempt to attribute them to me. That's wrong. In your frenzy to copy and paste, you could have easily seen that none of those quotes/titles are mine, yet you quote them to support your accusation that somehow I "crap on everything".
You're trying to make me look bad, but frankly, I think such a tactic speaks more about your character than it does about mine. And it's not helping your candidate either.
But if that's the price I have to pay for Bernie's supporters to unwittingly sabotage his campaign, then I guess it's one I'll just have to endure. I'll "suffer" in silence, and smile while doing it.

(1,306 posts)Ham-fisted attempt....why recommend something? Do you want it be attributed to.....? We can simply agree to disagree on our attempt at arguing, since we are both going nowhere.
NurseJackie
(42,862 posts)... that I think it's worth reading. If such things bother you so greatly, then perhaps an online political discussion forum isn't the best way to spend your time. (That's just a guess, I don't know you, so it's a judgement call that you're going to have to make.)
I suppose if you really want to get into some nitty-gritty research, you can also ferret-out some posts from Bernie supporters on which I've clicked the "DU-rec" button. Obviously, not as many compared to posts from Hillary supporters, but the fact that I have click the "rec" button doesn't mean that I support Bernie, it means that I thought the post was worth reading.
Make of it what you will, but I believe you're letting your anger and frustration get the best of you and you're lashing out at the wrong target/s. It seems that I get under your skin, so I'd make a friendly suggestion and recommendation that you add me to your ignore list.
No skin off my nose if you do. I won't be offended. The up-side of using the ignore feature is that you'll never see me "crapping" on your posts ... the downside is that when I do happen to "crap" on one of your posts, you won't be able to bicker with me about it.
It's a tough choice, I know ... but it's yours to make.
Good luck!

(42,862 posts)I don't know you ... you're just an anonymous poster on an internet political discussion forum. Try not to take things so personally.
pantsonfire
(1,306 posts)....though you have hardly gotten under my skin. My friend and I have had hours of practically yelling at each other over Hillary and Bernie, you keep on trying, if that's your goal.

(11,197 posts)I donate monthly to Bernie's campaign and I would be PISSED if any of my $$ went to the likes of a Claire McCaskill, or a Tom Carper, or a Heidi Heitkamp, or any of the third-way crew just because they choose to have a meaningless "D" behind their name.
