New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand says Hillary will release her Wall Street speeches transcripts!

NY Sen. Gillibrand Assures Voters Clinton Will Release Wall St. Transcripts 'At the Appropriate Time'
Senator and campaign surrogate says Clinton 'cares deeply about openness and transparency'
by Andrea Germanos, staff writer
April 15, 2016

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) said Friday that she believes Hillary Clinton will release the transcripts of her paid speeches to Wall Street firms "at the appropriate time."

As it did during Thursday evening's presidential debate, the content of the speeches Clinton has given—including three to Goldman Sachs totaling $675,000—has come under scrutiny during the campaign, with rival Bernie Sanders pointing to them to say she's too closely aligned with the big banks to be able to enact true Wall Street reform. Clinton, for her part, once laughed after being asked if she'd release the transcripts, and has defended the amount, saying, "That's what [Goldman Sachs] offered," and said she'd release them if her Republican rivals did as well.

Gillibrand, a staunch Clinton supporter, gave a different message in speaking to CNN's Chris Cuomo.

Asked if she would release them if she were in the same position, and if Clinton should release the transcripts, Gillibrand said, "I think she will. I think she's been clear that she's going to, and yes I would." She added, "I like transparency and accountability and I know Hillary does as well."

"I think she cares deeply about openness and transparency, and I think she will release those speeches at the appropriate time," Gillbrand said.

She will release them "at the appropriate time". The appropriate time would be after the Democratic Party convention if she captures the nomination. Of course, there will be heavy redactions for "national security" reasons. Imagine2015

I looked at the article but couldn't those quotes.

Very significant: either she's sharing classified info with them, which is very bad; or the redactions will simply remove anything incriminating

the real problem with the speaking fees is the quid pro quo and not necessarily anything she said at that moment

we shall see, i guess

Each speech had its own contract and she will never release any of them and neither will they. Gillibrand is just another puppet (Hills mentioned her in last night's debate) and she wants to protect her territory.

Gillibrand had been sworn in for her second term in Congress (representing the district where she grew up) when she was appointed by New York Governor David Paterson in January 2009 to finish out Clinton’s term. The selection process was a circus that lasted more than two months and culminated in Paterson’s choosing Caroline Kennedy—who then turned down the governor at the last second, which led him to Gillibrand. The appointment was immediately met with suspicion (if not downright hostility) by many downstate New Yorkers. In fact, her situation was, in a funny way, the inverse of Clinton’s—who was perhaps the most famous person ever to run for Senate, whom many felt they already knew (and didn’t like) far too much about.

after they've had time to doctor them for public viewing. I don't even ask about the transcripts because the real dirty dealing is not done at the podium. It's done in private with the executives not at the podium in front of the hired help.

Hillary is never going to release those transcripts voluntarily.

If Hillary somehow becomes President, God forbid, Gillibrand will get a spot in the administration to clear out Mom's Senate seat for Chelsea to inherit in 2018. All Chelsea will have to worry about is the general election because no significant Democrat will dare to oppose her in the primary.
