1. Sanders met the Pope. They met for a couple of moments along with Jane and another couple.

They did not hold a formal meeting. They did not discuss social, political, and economic issues. To say they did is a lie.

Two astronauts who walked on the moon:
I met Neil Armstrong, but I did not have a meeting with him.
I met Harrison Schmitt, and I had a formal meeting with him.

Both encounters were totally cool, totally worth remembering, and totally different.

Your statement is they "met" for only a couple of "moments". How long is a moment, in your world?

Also... what, in your opinion, is the relationship between the words "met", and "meeting"?

As is the case with other Hillary fans, ambiguity seems to be your stock in trade.

A couple of moments. Indeed.

And "meet" is to "met" as night is to day in your world. I get that.

...not setting some standard to define "moment ".

The Pope and Sanders had a brief moment together. You disagree? That is your right. I will not insult you for your opinion. Think about that as a standard for your own behavior.

One of my best friends from school was one of the operators (long-distant drivers) of the Mars Rovers. In my eyes, the guy is a rock star. When I see him, it takes a lot of self control to not want to talk about that stuff. For him, it's just a day at work.
