(14,255 posts)What a prick. Alert away.
Lemme 70-YO-white-woman-always-been-a-Democrat-and-support-Bernie-Berniesplain something to Howard the D....:
When you were running, all the candidates were sticking to the DNC platform, it was, really, just a matter of personality and money and whatever. So, yeah, you could fucking casually wait a fucking month and tell your sad little supporters to support another candidate. After having a little laugh about how they slept on the floor and gave you their pizza money. Did I mention "prick"?
Guess what, Howard - now, evidently, the Democratic platform approves of war and fracking and ruinous trade deals and Wall Street running things and lying and Third Way tampering with Social Security and nonono on decent health care for all Americans and regime change and sending children back home to die and obscene college tuition fees and debt ($2000 off a lifetime of debt - is she fucking kidding?) and other really shitty things. So, well, no, it is not like saying oh, I will have the Coke instead of the Pepsi or the Dr. Pepper.
Now, it is like saying oh, I will have some Flint, Michigan water instead of some pure clean water from a mountain stream high up in the Rockies, no effluents, no chemicals.......no, Howard, things have fucking right well changed, you pompous ass.

(10,565 posts)and then expect someone to appear with a magic wand and wave it away. I scrimped and saved so my daughter could commute to an affordable public college. Can I be reimbursed? I've made some bad financial decisions in my life and I have paid dearly. I learned some valuable lessons from doing stupid things. I've also learned that if you are depending on a politician to make your life successful you will be disappointed.
