released for a brokered convention.

I suppose his name, and probably Cruz and Kasich, would still appear on remaining ballots, so more pledged delegates would be picked up.

I guess it is possible that he would still get 1,237, but he could reject the nomination (to the relief of the goppers) and they would select someone else on the floor.

unfortunately, it looks more and more like Trump really is an actual Republican with presidential ambitions, but for the idea of the greatest single act of political theatre/performance art in the history of this nation.

He is going to start running to the left of Hillary and start venturing into Bernie territory. He knows how to get votes in the general and that is what he is going to do. He won't be pandering to the mouthbreathers after Cleveland because he won't need them anymore.

If you all thought Hillary was a weathervane, Trump will be the hurricane after the eye passes.
