"When Romanian hacker Marcel Lehel Lazar, also known as Guccifer, told NBC News senior investigative correspondent Cynthia McFadden that he had gained access to Hillary Clintons private email server, viewers worldwide were left to wonder whether his claim was true. Our analysis of Guccifers behavior in the interview left little doubt in our minds thatunfortunatelyit was.
Let us be clear that in this case, the behavior available for analysis is quite minimal. Having said that, based on the lack of deceptive indicators exhibited by Guccifer in response to McFaddens questions, we have concluded with a high degree of confidence that Guccifer was very likely successful in penetrating Clintons email server, as he claimed. What remains unclear, however, is exactly what information resident in the server might have been compromised.
Guccifer told McFadden that Clinton had lied when she claimed her email server was absolutely safehe stated categorically, Its not safe at all. While we have concluded that that statement is likely truthful, and that Guccifer likely ascertained that himself, what we are unable to assess is whether or not he was able to access any classified information on the server. Its equally unclear whether Guccifer was capable of identifying classified information, vs. unclassified information."

I'm not sure if it's true but it's definitely not nonsense.

(27,787 posts)... appearance of the indictment fairy.
Personally, I enjoyed the seeing the testimony of body languague experts being introduced into evidence.
I can't wait to hear what the numerologists come up with.

(20,582 posts)I think it's beyond thoughtless, and demeaning to those who died and who shouldn't be used as little derailing tactics on a message board. It's called having empathy and compassion.

Remorse is alien to me. I have a penchant for deceit. I am generally free of entangling and irrational emotions. I am strategic and canny, intelligent and confident, but I also struggle to react appropriately to other people's confusing and emotion-driven social cues.
I was not a victim of child abuse, and I am not a murderer or a criminal. I have never skulked behind prison walls; I prefer mine to be covered in ivy. I am an accomplished attorney and law professor, a well-respected young academic who regularly writes for law journals and advances legal theories. I donate 10 percent of my income to charity and teach Sunday school for the Mormon Church......

(14,732 posts)are probably true - and then rapidly proceeds to walk it back by the end. No, we really can't say, the behavior available for analysis is quite limited, we don't know what information was compromised, Guccifer probably couldn't tell was was classified anyway. Just another piece of bullshit by an ex CIA doofus who's peddling his brand-new corporation telling companies who pay him who's telling the truth. No more reliable (and probably much less) than a polygraph.

(491 posts)It's fairly well established she didn't use encryption for the first few months. She traveled in China in those few months. The Chinese would have seen her using the server then got in. No real ifs and or buts. And then they were in probably for the entire 4 months. Probably was so easy it looked like a trap.

(8,541 posts)at least two servers. It wasn't until Hillary contracted with that Denver based server farm that Hillary got a real but still off the self server. The FBI has all of them.
Did I mention that the Clinton foundation's emails are on them as well as with her aides?
