1. I agree she is honest and truthful but many do not like her answers. If it is not what they want to

hear or what they are predisposed to thinking about Hillary, it must be a lie.

27. I think her...

changing of positions from one week to the
next is what makes her seem dishonest. It's one thing to evolve over time. It's another to pander for votes. And that's what it looks like when she changes positions so often and so quickly.

She's her own worst enemy.

claiming she was under sniper fire in Bosnia. Or that the Reagans opened up the dialogue about Aids.

Just two examples of flat-out lies.

She wouldn't know the truth if it bit her nose off.

Look, here you are, pushing the same daily theme. Yes, today you offer a poll in support of your confirmation bias, but you'd still be tossing out the same concern trollish questions with or without a prop, yeah?

What's your payoff, it takes a lot of effort to be that wrapped up in a politician, so what do you get out of it? Is it just ego and vanity, maybe the daily anti Hillary public service announcement, paranoid that it's the end of life as we know it?

My comments are directed toward keeping the Democratic party progressive and opposed to letting the party slip into a neoliberal and neocon direction.

8. Well, if you subtract the mountains of phony scandals, distortions, and exaggerations

of her record, then you have a few mis-statements and flip flops. I rate her as one of the more honest politicians in the game. And just to reinforce the point, the number of years alone that she has been under attack and hated by her enemies says they take her very much by her word and they fear her.

43. Or, republicans hate Democrats, and their hatred rises with how well known the Democrat is.

They hated Carter.

They hated Teddy and the rest of the Kennedy's

They hate Elizabeth Warren (and will hate her more when she runs for President)

They Hate Barrack Obama, and they hate Michelle Obama about as much as they hated Hillary.

The republicans are a cult of hate and fear. They hate and fear all Democrats except for the ones that lick their boots. Their opinions are tribal, and should not be mistaken for anything more serious. As far as being under attack for years, it might be because she never really left politics.

16. Changing your mind? Really? She said "I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be

some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base."

Then she was confronted with video footage showing that she had lied:

That's not "changing your mind."

Changing you mind is initially choosing the soup over the salad, and then calling the waiter back to request the salad instead. Telling a story that self aggrandizes your duties as First Lady and then being confronted with contrary video footage is not the same as calling the waiter back to cancel the soup.

there were snipers in the hills, and it took longer to land, and the meet and greet was cut down...but, hey, you like your narrative....cuz you got pics...sorry, if I had my baby with with me, everything would be so dangerous, that's all I'd remember...but have fun having a laugh.

21. Why do you think this is such a BIG deal?

For all I know her story could have been her relaying a real sense of danger at some point on that trip. Either way it doesn't rise to a level of habitual liar that folks like you want everyone to think it means.

Its not an example of lying about public policy, or lying about some political opponent, or lying about her finances. On a scale of famous American lies it gets a 1 on a scale of 1 to 5. And thats why no one gives a crap.

You say no one gives a crap - do you not see that more than three times as many people say she is dishonest as say she is honest? This is people giving a crap. In exit polls, people list her dishonesty as one of the top reasons they don't support her - that is people giving a crap.

People don't generally prefer to vote for liars, and people generally think she is a liar, so therefore ....

That is why I use a different standard to judge them, I base my determination on their record on policy and job performance and the respect she gets from people she has to work with and has worked with.

I don't have a strong opinion on whether Brian Williams should have been canned. That was his employers decision.

They could have been from a different day. They don't prove that on the specified day at that specified location there wasn't sniper fire. She was very clear that there was. Picking a couple of random pictures doesn't prove anything.

They are the day she was supposedly under sniper fire. There was no sniper fire. She and Chelsea stayed on the tarmac, shaking hands with various people, accepting flowers from a little girl. No sniper fire.

If she "misremembered" something that never happened, then I don't think we can possibly trust her to do things like negotiate with foreign heads of state.

68. I've seen tons of smear attempts

Yet nothing sticks. Nothing. I believe Secretary Clinton is one of the most honest and honorable politicians of the early 21st century.

72. She is very dishonest. Look at how she has distorted Sanders record and ideas, for example.

Does anyone actually think that her responses to questions about the transcripts have been honest? Does anyone really believe that she has been honest about TPP during this primary campaign? Did she tell the truth about sniper fire in Bosnia or about Chelsea jogging around the Trade Center on the morning of 9/11? Was she honest when she said that Snowden could have received whistleblower protections had he not fled the US? Has she been honest when she has suggested that she did not really support the invasion of Iraq? She attacked Obama for being too anti-gun and Sanders for being too pro-gun. Were both of those attacks sincere?

I guess I hope she isn't being honest when she describes US involvement in violent regime change in Libya as "smart power at its best." The alternative is even worse in that case.

73. And it doesn't matter. For 50 years people have proven themselves willing to vote for candidates

they find dishonest.

I don't see why people are taking so long to digest that.

74. Recursion—Remember what the late comedian George Carlin said about honesty (and in politics)?

77. No she is not. But I will vote for her if she is the Dem nominee anyway.

Because Trump is not only dishonest and untruthful, he is a complete whack job.

80. On an honest scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being totally honest,

Hillary is about a 6, which is about par for the course for a politician.

She is very strategic with her lies. Her lawyer background makes her susceptible the fudging the truth (no offense AttinTex!), like Bill, but not quite getting into out right lie territory too often. That just makes her seem worse.
