(375 posts)Not what I would call a huge victory
In fact I would call the 25/25 delegate divide a tie

(47,209 posts)nice as often some out of town DUers try to make it up for the weekend. Want to do it after the convention, but before Oct when we all might be too busy helping out for November. So much fun, it's like a costume party in reverse, wondering what name is behind those faces.

(47,209 posts)about our plans will be saved for post convention DU. We are only judgey about people being assholes, not towards people working to elect Dems. Many of the people I met who worked hard in RL have left DU over this purity bullshit. Lovely, hardworking people I only see on FB these days, who would love to meet you!

(47,209 posts)a Manhattan public meetup starting late afternoon/ early evening to with cheap drinks with or near cheap food (Nancy Whiskey works well) and Sunday someone usually invites people they like over or people meet up for brunch. I've done weekends in Boston and a few in DC w/ DUers and that's usually a formula no one can argue with. In case there are weirdos, is easier to deal with that in public.

(47,209 posts)who are out of towners early, so you all can plan better. Who else do you think would like to come to NY for a weekend early in Sept to meet up? Ask around.

(744 posts)If it's anything less than 66% of the delegates, then his requirement for the remaining delegates goes up even higher. This is not a win for the Bern.
