Survey Says Most Democrats don't want Sanders to drop out, poll finds

http://theweek.com/speedreads/625526/most-democrats-dont-want-sanders-drop-poll-finds

Counting super delegates, Hillary Clinton is fewer than 100 delegates away from clinching the Democratic nomination — but her party isn't ready to see Bernie Sanders exit the race quite yet.

Some 70 percent of Democrats say that the "continuing campaign for the Democratic nomination" is not hurting their party, according to Gallup poll results released Friday.

And like that the Brock Sock puppets brains collectively exploded on here.

When Hillary didn't suspend until June 7, 2008. Why the rush?

The see where Bernie can take the nomination despite their claims of "math" and all and 2008 is looming in the back of their minds.

After all....It's HER Turn

It feels like something is about to happen, and the race might just change a whole heckuva lot.

when I thought the Dems could still beat Trump, I didn't think so. But now that we are so divided, and will surely loose in the fall, I want Sanders to stay in all the way to the convention. He will absolutely ruin any legacy he has left, he and his supporters will look like spoiled children, and any hope of the fringe left agenda taking hold in the next 20 years will end. It really is our only long term chance for putting a reasonable Democrat back in power, eventually.

Sanders staying in the race will in no way change the fact that Hillary will get the nomination, but it will help to clarify to anyone paying attention that her side is the steady, non-rioting, non-violent side.

Hillary and the DNC club need to recognize that progressives are not some minority group that they can continue to marginalize. And when I say progressives, I mean the Sander-Warren wing of the Democratic party.
