Related: About this forumPuerto Rico's Democratic primary looks to be as big of a clusterfuck as any other.

Anyone seen anything about this in the media?

(249 posts)Hmmm...could this be happening because Puerto Rico is undergoing a financial collapse? Or is it part of an elaborate conspiracy by the Clinton campaign to defraud all of the Bernie supporters that have somehow never appeared in any polls?
Come on, If anything the system has skewed in Bernie's favor (regardless of the allegiances of the party elite). He's received 46% of delegates with 42% of votes.
I really wish people would stop coming up with excuses for why Bernie was unable to seal the deal. Obama managed it when Hillary was far more popular.

well don't be surprised if clinton loses to trump.

(249 posts)I wanted Bernie to win, I'm just sick of people throwing around unsubstantiated conspiracy theories because their candidate lost. There hasn't been any verifiable voter fraud in this nomination process.

(10,721 posts)And there's no reason to believe Puerto Rico or a US state not being able to operate as many polling places as they'd like is a benefit to Clinton.
Clinton does better than Sanders in urban areas, and those are typically the areas that suffer from polling place closures and long lines. Not to mention that Sanders has benefit greatly from caucuses, and there's nothing that suppresses the vote quite like a caucus (working people, parents, persons with disabilities, people who want their vote kept private and others don't find caucuses to be accessible).

(249 posts)conveniently escape some of the Bernie supporters. Also what's funny about the "Clinton supporter" label being thrown at me is that I've been banned from the Clinton forum. Lol

(249 posts)Bernie has himself acknowledged that the system is not rigged even as he has spent the last several months suggesting otherwise. According to your assumption then, he's a liar. I, for one, don't believe Bernie Sanders is interested in lying. The system is not rigged.

DWS has gutted the party.

(71,046 posts)I am sure you mean Hillary is winning. Mr. Purity would do nothing to help Peurto Rico so that is not surprising...he doesn't think what is possible with a GOP Congress is good enough...so they get nothing if he had his way.
