Met the Bern himself last night in a place I had absolutely no idea I would ever meet a presidential candidate — a local taco shop in the heart of California's Central Valley: Fresno. Not only was I able to meet him, I spoke to him at length of his commitment to the communities I dearly love. He accepted a note from me, put his hands on my shoulders, listened to every word I had to say, and responded humbly and graciously.

It's always nice to meet a celebrity. Ive only seen 2 close up. Gene Krupa in the 70s , a drummer and Gloria Vanderbilt same decade. She was hawking jeans on a TV show and I was in audience. She was so small I don't know how she ever squeezed out Anderson Cooper.

I used to eat there as often as I could.
eventually those carne asada burritos werent as good as they used to be, and
it has been a rare stop the last five years or so.
But we drove by there after the long walk back to our vehicle, and I saw that giant buslike
vehicle pulling into an overflowed parking lot, and could not convince myself it was Sanders and crew.
Had to be some other event with people being bussed in, right?
and obviously they must be making better food at night...
I wonder what Bernie had, and I sure hope it was good.
