A persons passion, compassion and alliance.. cannot turn on a dime

Trust me I know this.. I know this feeling..

And I did not have 1000's turning out and cheering in large stadiums to back my candidate of choice.

I wrote this before..

When O'Malley was not viable.. I was going to be downballot only for Democrats.. I could not bring myself to switch that quickly.

Then I was not going to post in GDP anymore.. it was just too painful

I still get those twinges.. though

Its not easy, its just not.

It's not easy and it is an extremely personal process. Extremely. nt. NCTraveler Jun 2016 #1

I knew, before caucus we not viable.. I knew it in my heart..and I could not caucus.. had to leave when the head count was done..and a person needs some time.. because we do not come to our choices out of thin air..there are true commitments behind them.. I did of course.. but it took time..

It amazes me to see Clinton supporters, who were not easy converts to the Obama camp, carrying on as if they are a different sort of person who never does that sort of thing.

DU, sadly, has failed me for the first time since I've been here so the issues I have with a Clinton candidacy have to be dealt with up the chain with her endorsing officials who ask for my support. They will not have it until they make amends and public correction for her bullshit about Reagan and AIDS and for the antisemitic tropes and for the horrific lies about people like Danny Lyon. I will NOT remain in a Reagan loving McCarthist Party that practices personal destruction through mendacity. Not a chance of that happening. So this Party needs to clean up it's act and get honest with the voters or it will find itself bereft of that which it has counted on for decades.

I do not like what happened to this Party with Clinton as their objective. It's heartbreaking, not that she is likely nominee, but the ways and methods and styles that got her there. Reagan? That's just too much for me. I get that many of you adored him. I did not. I also really take offense at all the posters who say 'Real Democrats voted for Hillary, Bernie voters don't show up to vote' on the day my State which is super Democratic voted for Bernie by a large margin. How dare those posters announce that this entire State, our Senators and our Reps are not Democrats? They sit in Red States, shitting on those of us who deliver Democrats to DC.
Not that happy with any of that and none of that was necessary to run your candidate. It was all done by choice. And that is creepy.
